As well as community care, Peak Pharmacies has a long history of providing specialist Aged Care Pharmacy Services to Geelong’s Aged Care Facilities, supporting residents’ wellbeing and providing medication management solutions that assist staff in easily and safely distributing medications.

Helping to make a difference to the community in which we operate
Peak Pharmacies have supported the KOGO organisation for over 10 years. KOGO enhances social inclusion through volunteering and providing hand knitted items of warmth and comfort to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community. KOGO supplies donated items to over 310 Community Partner Organisations

Peak Pharmacies have proudly supported the local community and the Give Where You Live Foundation through the Big Program for over 10 years.
The Geelong Foundation is a local change maker, who seek to play a broader role of catalysing and effecting positive social change across the wider Geelong region.
Founding Partners
Chris Thompson
Chris was the Peak Pharmacies Operations Manager and the driving force behind the growth of the group with his expertise in business management. Chris left the group in February 2022 to further his career in business management.

"The idea of building the Peak brand was to create an environment for pharmacists to practice in, that gave them an opportunity to utilise their qualifications to provide the best health outcomes for our patients. This is what has driven me in my pharmacy career. I have wanted to do our best to ensure that the service that pharmacy is offering is relevant and appreciated by the patients and the community, including other health professionals."
Greg Porte
Greg has been a community pharmacist for over 30 years. He was a partner in the pharmacy at Bellarine Village for over 20 years and continues to be a partner at Drysdale, Leopold and Newtown. Greg helped form the foundations of the Peak Pharmacies brand.

Greg has a passion for assisting customers achieve their health needs through optimal medication management. He has a special interest in asthma care and vaccinations.

Shelley Thompson
Shelley is the groups Marketing Manager, overseeing the retail operations and the Peak Pharmacies brand.
​
Shelley came to Geelong in 1997 where she became a founding partner at Bellarine Village.
Shelley & Chris developed the business into a pharmacy focused on providing health solutions to the community, with the objective of bettering our customers health, forming the foundation for the Peak Pharmacies model that is still relevant today. Bellarine Village was sold in February 2022 leaving 4 pharmacies remaining in the Peak Pharmacies group.

Zane Wright
Zane joined the group during his Intern Pharmacist year over 15 years ago and was an integral team member in developing the Peak Pharmacies brand.
Zane values strong community connections as well as providing exceptional customer service. Zane is the Managing partner at Peak Pharmacy Newtown.
