Covid-19 Updates and Regulations

As of 11:59pm Sunday May 31st, further easing of restrictions will be taken place as announced by the Victorian Government.

What does this mean for you?

The following dot points are an outline and overview of the changes being made and what is now acceptable and appropriate behaviour.

  • Stay safe by maintaining good hygiene and social distancing and staying home if you feel unwell.

  • Get tested should you present any coronavirus symptoms.

  • Schools will gradually resume normal classroom learning.

  • From June 1st, it is planned that gradual easing of restrictions will take place for social events and ceremonies, fitness, sport and recreation, personal services, cafes and restaurants, travel and leisure, culture and entertainment.

  • Further regulations will be eased as of June 22.

It has been confirmed that there are now five reasons to leave your home:

  • Shopping for food and other necessary goods and services.

  • Access medical services or provide caregiving.

  • Attending work or education where you cant do those things from home

  • Exercise and participate in some recreational activities adhering to the rules

  • Visit friends, family and loved ones while adhering to the rules - you can now have 5 visitors in your home at one time.
