2020 has been an extremely difficult and challenging year for everyone. Now more than ever, it is super important to stay connected
September 10th 2020 marks RUOK Day. A day where as a nation we are reminded of the importance of checking in on those around us.
Asking "RUOK" is a simple question to start a very important conversation.
If you notice a change in someone, whether it's what they're saying, what they're doing or whats going on in their life, its time to trust the signs, trust your gut and ask "RUOK?".
You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life.
Please see below a resource to help you in keeping the conversation going.
