Peak Pharmacies Geelong - Professional Advice You Can Rely On

Peak Pharmacies are committed to continuing to serve our local communities with the very best of care and professional advice you can rely on.

Due to the introduction of the Labor Government’s 60-day dispensing policy and subsequent Government funding cuts to our pharmacies, we have been forced to make changes to our service fees from 1st September 2023.

What’s changing:

  • All deliveries will be charged a $5 delivery fee (excluding weekly webster/DAA deliveries)

  • All blood pressure measurements will be charged a $2.50 fee.

  • All document signing including statutory declarations will be charged a minimum $2.50 fee (certification of multiple pages will be charged at $2.50 per page)

What’s not changing:

  • We are maintaining our existing staffing levels so we can continue to offer you the same level of excellent customer service.

  • We will maintain our existing trading hours so that our customers are not disadvantaged.

Peak Pharmacies are committed to cheaper medicines and affordable healthcare for all, however we can not continue to subsidize medicines and services without adequate funding from the current Labor Government to support us.

If you have concerns about these changes, please contact your local Labor members of parliament, either Libby Coker (Corangamite) on 5261 7683 or Richard Marles (Corio) on 5221 3033 to inform them how their 60-day dispensing policy is impacting you.
